Aim for Zero is an app which encourages people to reduce their carbon emissions. Illustration was used as a means of  making the interface feel accessible to people of widely differing ages and backgrounds. The night theme creates an ominous feel while being distinct from other green issue organisations.

Black Sheep Craft Cider was created for a winery looking to expand into the ciders
market with an alternative to trendy lager beer. Vintage photography was used to play on the name and add to the personality of the brand while being reminiscent of a time before mass production.

Vaciller Jelly is a boutique product aimed at discerning adults and high-end food retailers. The product takes it's name from the French word for ‘wobble’, and comes in the form of crystals which served as inspiration for the pattern on the box. The lid clips shut over a fold in the card so that the product looks good after opening.

Quarterly newsletter promoting the company as an employer including an application form on the back cover. Repetition of simple graphic elements were used in combination with the supplied colour palette for a formal yet  fresh and modern feel.

Identity for Where on Earth, an independently owned garden centre and garden design service. The company is located in an affluent borough of London and specialises in rare and hard-to-find plants and accessories.

to use Illustrator and I'm using him as a placeholder until I'm ready to upload my
next project.

FORM is an edgy music, arts and culture magazine for iPad. I used this brief to experiment with the appearance of grunge effects on the pristine screen of the device. This layout was created in Indesign's digital publishing workspace with scrolling text and embedded video.

A student brief which started life as a two colour DL roll and fold leaflet with membership form. Inspiration for the graphic elements was taken from ‘Revolution Manchester’, a key exhibit featuring bright coloured light and imagery. I started to experiment with applying the design to merchandise, such as this t-shirt.

Black and white cover for a low cost edition of the gothic horror novel. The stitched and drawn illustration was shown in two halves reflecting the intellectual and primeval sides of ‘the creature's’ nature. Fell type was used to compliment both the historical setting and irregular, hand created elements of the cover design.
